According to a recent article, there are several upcoming specialty medications that pharmacists should be aware of. These include new drugs for oncology, neurology, endocrinology, and cardiology. One example is the recently approved Leqvio (inclisiran) for specialty cardiology drugs. Pharmacists should stay up-to-date on the drug development pipeline and be prepared to help clients stay ahead of the curve on new and upcoming drugs.[1]
